Business Development Representative
Location: Headquarters (HQ)

Reports to: Manager, Business Development Operations

DESCRIPTION:
WANRack is looking for an energetic & detail-oriented self-starter as our next Business Development Representative. The ideal candidate's primary responsibility is to assist the directors & managers in RFP responses through the Fall/Winter 2022-2023 E-Rate season, and then move into a hybrid role with sales training and commission earning potential for the following sales season.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
November 2022 – March 2023
Work in RFPIO to build proposal templates & blueline templates
Compare proposal pricing to Salesforce and report to finance any needed changes.
Quality Check Sales Support Team’s proposals
Create reports for the operations team to alert of Maps and Logical needed
Bind and deliver proposals to FedEx for shipment
March 2023 – Beyond
*In addition to the above responsibilities the BDR will be responsible for:
Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contacting potential clients through cold calls and emails
Presenting our company to potential clients
Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Directors, Business Development
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Experience with responding to RFPs (e.g. RFPIO)
Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent written, communication, and negotiation skills
