Lenexa, KS (June, 2015) – WANRack today announced the completion of a Private Fiber Optic Wide Area Network (WAN) for Converse County Schools located in Douglas, Wyoming. The agreement calls for WANRack to provide a Fiber Optic Network throughout the Douglas, WY community.

This network will allow them unlimited growth potential at a fixed price for the foreseeable future,” said Rob Oyler, President for WANRack. “Our core competency is building private fiber optic networks. Our fiber optic network in Douglas, WY rivals any other high-end network, nationwide. The residents should be very proud to have access to this technology for their kids.”
WANRack specializes in providing Private Fiber Optic WANs via dedicated fibers to K-12 school districts nationwide. Their Dark Fiber and Lit Fiber solutions over Private Fiber Optic WANs provide superior ROI, scalability and security than traditional cable or telephone company offerings due to their unique design model.
“WANRack provided an affordable long-term solution for our network bottle-neck issues. Our students immediately benefited the instant we lit the fiber. WANRack’s infrastructure design allows dedicated connectivity, not shared or over-subscribed as with traditional telco circuits, and also gives the District control of our network. The school Board is pleased with the bottom-line, and our Teachers and Principals are elated with the service,” said Ken Reynolds, Director of Technology for Converse County Schools. “They came in on time and on budget. I highly recommend WANRack.”
